Watch snail mail for a card from me about Flat Stanley. You have to send a postcard to the class and then forward on the Flat Stanley. I thought your kids might enjoy it and the class would be thrilled to see Belgium on the list!
Hope you got my card. It came back to me for more postage, which I added, and resent.

Happy New Year Rochelle and Laura! Loved your xmas foto from Cancun Rochelle - looked like you had a fabulous time in the sun and surf - makes us jealous in the land of 8 shades of gray!
Can't wait to get Flat Stanley card - Alex loved it when she did it in Ms. Golubic's class. Hmmm ... where to forward the Flat Stanley to? Maybe Alex's cousins in the Netherlands would enjoy it since they're learning to speak English.

Loved your blog about Disney. Of course, thinking about Thea also makes me realize we have lots to be thankful for. We had an awesome experience there in 2004 and managed to come home with photos and lots of good memories! Enough for our family... still voted one of our favorite family times ever, although swimming with the dolphins is now up there.

Rochelle, Flat Stanley's friend arrived today, and Alex got right on it -- printing a map of Belgium and the royal family and making a photo collage -- she was happy to help out. I must admit I enjoy this project too!
We had a blast at Disney. Best part for me was watching the kids personalities shine forth, w Phoebe, "the conqueror", for whom no ride was scary enough, and Alex "the terrified", for whom most rides were too scary. Thijs fell somewhere inbetween. but he remembered that we never made it to Peter Pan's flight because the lines were outrageous, even with Fast Pass!
