a fly on the wall
what i would give to be a FLY ON THE WALL
to hear secrets WHISPERED
to see MASKS come down
i think it would be great
to be so SMALL

i can relate to this little, tiny insignificant fly. In the past 20 months i've tried to EMPTY myself, my limbs, my body, my soul of everything that i WAS so that i can BECOME what i really want to BE. What that is, i still don't know. But i'm getting closer and that is comfort enough ... happy birthday, aquarians!
Beautiful picture, Courtenay. I think you painted this, yes? I love the poem too. We just got back from our weekend skiing. Great fun, but boy am I sore!! Love to you! We miss you. Rochelle

yes, I used charcoal, pastels and ink to give the exoskeleton some hardness. Glad you like it! Miss you too!
You are not only becoming a wonderful artist, but a poet, as well! Love your work! Mom
I love your spirit...
