I am taking another position that requires me to count and listen for birds and I (now more than ever) still move at the speed of dogwood.

the speed of dogwood ... then you will see and hear more birds, my friend! Oh, the adventures you'll have -- I can only imagine. Don't forget the parking brake, or your data sheets ... have fun.
For earth day (today!), I taught kids about food webs and we did yoga poses and had fun. I brought a junebug to class too, and for many of them it was the first time they touched a "bug". It was cool.
We all miss you and the clan!
